The MRK series provides a narrow design for large-scale multi-bay jobs where floor space is a concern. Specify an MRK rack when multiple racks need to be joined, or when open sides are desirable for easy access to cables and components.

General Structural Features of MRK Rack System:

• Fully welded construction provides: Static load capacity 10,000 lbs., UL Listed load capacity 2,500 lbs., Seismic Certified load capacity 1,050 lbs.
• Seismic certified (UBC 1997 & CBC 1998 Zone 4; IBC 2000, IBC 2003, ASCE 7 - 02, NFPA 5000 Seismic Use Group III) for protecting 1050 lbs. of essential equipment when used in conjunction with our MRK-Z4 brackets
• OSHPD approved for fixed equipment anchorage in California healthcare facilities
• 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/2" electrical knockouts found on removable split rear plates, top knockout plate additionally includes UHF/VHF antenna knockouts
• 2 pairs of wider rack rail provide more interior room
• Laser-cut 1/8" thick internal steel braces for strength
• 14-gauge steel tops & bottoms, 16-gauge seamless steel sides
