We take close looks at all sorts of products here on the MilesTek blog. But every once in a while, it’s good to take a step back and see how they all fit together.
Almost every single product we offer provides an A/V solution to one need or another for our customers. And for just about every category of A/V need — DVI, VGA, HDMI — we provide a full set of products that cover every aspect of that category.
For example, let’s examine the big picture about DVI:
DVI Cables
Nothing replaces a high-quality, long-lasting, reliable cable, and we’re proud to offer a comprehensive line of DVI cables, including digital dual DVI cables and digital single DVI cables.
DVI Extenders over CAT5E/CAT6
While the DVI cables we sell are the best in the industry, they are limited in how long they can run while maintaining premium quality. An excellent way to extend DVI signals exponentially (at just a fraction of the price) is to run the signals over CAT5E Ethernet cables or CAT6 Ethernet cables. Our line of DVI extenders can do exactly that, and includes DVI over single CAT5E/CAT6 active and passive balun sets and plate sets, as well as DVI equalizer jack-to-jack power inline devices.
DVI Switchers
DVI switchers simply multiply your options. We offer both 2×1 DVI switchers and 4×1 DVI switchers. One display can connect to either two or four sources. In other words, two or four computers can connect to any video display with a DVI port, including projectors, high-def TVs or monitors.
DVI Splitters
DVI splitters are basically the inverse of DVI switchers. Instead of connecting multiple sources to a single display, our DVI splitters do the opposite — say, one computer to two or four monitors. The splitters provide the perfect DVI solution to situations where you have several people watching the same thing (classroom settings, training seminars, etc.).
