Precision Test Cables

We provide high-quality coaxial cables that are both tough enough to last for as long as you’ll need them, and flexible enough to perform customized, mission-specific tests…without sacrificing performance. And at MilesTek our precision test cables can perform up to a full range of frequencies, including 18 GHz, 26.5 GHz, 40 GHz, 50 GHz, and 65 GHz.

These cables include triple-shielding for reduced RF leakage, and tough, rugged construction that makes them durable over multiple mating cycles. We offer both semi-rigid cables, and PRECISION-150, PRECISION-098, and PRECISION-095 cables that come with increased flexibility. In other words, they’ll work for you—not the other way around.

We can even get you custom lengths. Contact us for custom ordering information.

Non-Magnetic Precision Cables

The PRECISION-165 cable is designed for high isolation and stability under the most demanding conditions. The non-magnetic construction is ideal for, say, MRI applications, and boast a fused laminated PTFE core.

The result is unmatched durability, and shielding characteristics that set the industry standard in flexible cables. They’re flexible, but without sacrificing durability — thanks to a ruggedized, passivated stainless steel design. And electrical performance can handle vibrations and environmental exposure with ease.

Testing Equipment

Thorough planning, testing, and quality assurance can end up saving you money over the long run. From our headquarters in Denton, Texas, we can provide a full line of the testing tools and kits you need to ensure fault-less installation and make sure the job is done right the first time.

This includes A/V testers like AV cable testers, video isolation transformers and XLR cable tester pairs, electrical testers like high-end circuit testers and multi-meters, toners and probes, and telephone butt-sets. Our network cable testers include electricians and cable installers who can quickly diagnose problems with cables, at distances of up to 2,500 feet. That human element can make the save you from enormous headaches, system failures, and cost-overruns—and we only hire the best.

Don’t toss out those VCRs and mid-80s Nintendos just yet. We make it easy to convert old analog AV signals into digital HDMI.

HDMI isn’t just for HDTVs and Blu-Ray DVD players any more. Already, HDMI technology can easily be made compatible with your favorite modern devices (like digital projectors, video recorders, laptop computers, and game consoles). Now, with the right conversion equipment, older analog devices can be converted to digital, HDMI-compatible platforms as well.

Imagine that — those old, nostalgic videos of birthday parties and first steps caught on a camcorder blasting out from your HDTV in pristine quality. At MilesTek, we offer a full line of plug-n-play HDMI converter options that allow you to do exactly that, including:

Component Video to HDMI Converter

Perhaps more than any other picture experience, DVD quality and gaming quality are critical. So when you need to convert component video (everyday devices like DVD players, set-top boxes, XBoxes, Wiis, PS2s, and PSPs) to HDMI, this device will do the trick flawlessly. It transforms HD component video (YPbPr) and left/right stereo audio and SPDIF signal to HDMI output.

Composite Video and S-Video to HDMI Converter/Scaler

This device can take either composite video (VCRs or older game consoles) or s-video (earlier-generation DVD players, satellite receivers, and video game consoles.), and convert it to HDMI. This makes it easy to use older analog devices as part of your larger HD home theater system (no need to hang onto an older TV just to keep using that old VCR ), and scales up the video to HDMI 720p.

VGA to HDMI Converter

These converters make it easy to connect most PCs and laptops to 1080p HDTVs, and it does it without sacrificing picture quality. The converter supports resolutions up to 1920×1080 @ 60 Hz.

All-Video to HDMI Converter, Scaler, and Switcher

Have several devices that you’d like to convert? The all-video to HDMI converter, scaler and switcher can handle switching between nine different sources — scaling each up to HDMI quality. This device basically combines the ability to distribute multiple inputs of component and composite video, VGA, and HDMI signals to one HDMI 720p or 1080p HDTV. It’s everything you need, really.

Vibrant, vivid, and crystal-clear — there’s just not much more impressive technology out there in the home entertainment industry than HDTVs. What if there was a way to cheaply run that technology to multiple locations throughout your home or office?

We love HDMI technology here at Milestek, and we can make it easy to do exactly that. Splitting and extending HDTV signals simply makes such extraordinary technology even more useful.

Let’s think about how HDMI signal distribution might come in handy:

  • Outdoor parties where there’s limited cable access.
  • Seminars and lectures, where multiple HDTVs would improve the overall presentation.
  • Large parties across multiple rooms.
  • Convention, exhibition and trade show demonstrations.
  • Any time, in fact, when there’s only one DVD or Blu-Ray, but multiple HDTVs to show it on.

If you install it poorly, or use inferior or incorrect equipment, however, you’ll end up substandard quality picture (or with just a bunch blank TV screens).

Here at MilesTek, we provide everything you need to do it right. In fact, HDTV extension and splitting makes up just a small part of the comprehensive suite of AV distribution solutions we offer. Effective, quality-retaining signal distribution is key for any AV installation, and we provide our clients with cutting-edge digital and analog signal distribution options for DVI, Component Video, RGB, VGA, Audio and USB technologies.

And, as we’ve mentioned in the past, we offer multiple devices that allow you to pair VGA and HDMI signals with CAT5E/CAT6 technology, which lets you run high-quality signal longer distances (for example, up to 1,000 feet for VGA signals) over flexible, less expensive cables.
