Need a DVI solution?  MilesTek now provides multiple DVI distribution devices in order to meet your needs, and we are confident you will be satisfied.

The DVI over Single Cat5E/6 Passive Balun set will allow signal distribution using ONLY ONE inexpensive Cat5/6 cable, as does the DVI over Single Cat5E/6 Active Balun.  The Passive Balun set will extend the transmission distance up to 100ft @ 1024×768 XGA or 50ft @ 1600×1200 UXGA while the Active balun will extend the transmission distance up to 200ft @1024×768 XGA or 100ft @ 1600×1200 UXGA.  Both are DVI 1.1 compliant, and while the Active Balun requires one AC/DC 5V 2A adapter (included for active box), the passive Balun does not require an external power source.

The MilesTek 1×2 or 1×4 DVI Splitter are perfect for connecting multiple DVI digital monitors to a single computer.  The 1×2 Splitter connects two DVI digital monitors to one computer and broadcast to multiple monitors simultaneously with the DVI video splitter, while the 1×4 connects four monitors to one computer.  Both built-in video extenders ensure clear and sharp images as far as 32ft away from the CPU.  Enhance your presentations, broadcast real-time data, use in classrooms and training facilities, or for remote security monitoring – either way this product epitomizes quality.  To ensure the best video integrity, the video splitter has a high bandwidth of 165MHz, up to 1600×1200 60Hz maximum resolution and a two level cascade capability that provides for future expansion.  These products also support digital plasma screen & flat panel, projectors and any video display with DVI port.  Includes power cable and rack mount kit.

Surface Raceway Systems

Surface Raceway System products are ideal for concealing category UTP, fiber optic and coaxial cable when the cabling run may not be hidden behind a wall. MilesTek’s surface raceway system is a one-piece latching duct, designed with a flexible hinge, allowing numerous openings without creating discoloration or stress cracking. The self-locking, hidden positive latch provides for quick re-entry as well as secure installation of wire and cable. Wide raceway base/boxes have foam-backed adhesive, offering high ultimate bond strength to most any surface and typically reduce the installation time required. Additional system attributes include:

• Surface raceway, fittings and junction boxes are made of 94V-0 PVC

• Raceway ducts come in 6 ft. and 8 ft. lengths and three widths, ¾”, 1¼” and 1¾” and are sold in single pieces or economical 20-piece boxes.

• Minimum 1” bend radius fittings.

• 2” deep single-gang and 1½” deep double-gang junction boxes offered.

• Fittings for 1” minimum bend radius conform to EIA/TIA CAT5E/6 requirements
