HDMI OVER LAN/ETHERNET IR EXTENDER KIT - 90-12028

Allows you to simultaneously send out an HDMI 1.3 Signal to one or more HDMI displays using one CAT5E/CAT6 cable over a standard managed Ethernet infrastructure as well as returns an IR control signal to the source to control it.  Perfect for multiple display commercial applications such as digital signage and others, bars/restaurants, corporate.

This set includes a transmitter, receiver, AC power adapters and (1) complimentary HDMI cable. The units also come with one set of IR send and receive control cables shown above to allow control of source device at any remote display location.

You can distribute HD digital content from multiple Sources to up 200 displays on a LAN by cascading Managed Ethernet switches up to 3 levels, allowing transmission of HDMI signal up to 400M (1,300 ft.) from the source device while sustaining picture & sound quality.

Standard pre-made patch cords (stranded-gauge) can’t be used for this product. Must use solid-gauge CAT5E/CAT6 bulk cable throughout installation run, correctly terminated with RJ45 connectors.

Tech Note: This system is not an HDMI Balun, but an HDMI over IP system. This means you can create your own AV Ethernet network and all of the receivers will find the transmitter automatically. It may even be used over smaller existing house networks and low cost LAN switches and routers.

Also, this system must be installed on a partitioned part of the network or dedicated network to satisfy the bandwidth needed to send HD signals.
