How to order your custom cables and adapters:

1. Select your cable type

• Choose from shielded twisted pair (STP), unshielded twisted pair (UTP), RS-232/-449/-530, Coax, Fiber cable.
• Determine what style or standard you require. For example, do you want CAT5e-rated twisted pair cable or CAT6? Do you need 50 or 75 ohm Coax cable?
• Select the type of cable jacket, such as PVC or plenum.
• Buying unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable? You can color-code your network with cables in red, blue, green, yellow, orange and other colors.

2. Choose your connectors

• Determine the types of connectors you need on each end, such as DB25, DB9, RJ45, RJ11, etc. Remember to specify each connector's gender-either male or female.
• We also need to know what types of hoods you want. Choose from plastic, adapter, metal (EMI/RFI shielded), etc.
• Let us know if you need screwlocks, right-angle hoods or other special hardware.

3. Detail your pinning

• Tell us exactly how you want your cable to be pinned. For example: Do you need jumpers? Is a shielded pair required?
• Even if your specification is for straight pin-to-pin pairing, please tell us. Not sure what pinning you need? Tell us your application and our Tech Support experts will guide you in the right direction.

4. Specify special instructions

• We've built custom cables with special snap-on/off connections for security applications. Other applications required custom Y cables, large octopus cables with extremely unusual connector combinations and cables with fast disconnects.
