Another week. Another nifty device that increases your HDMI distribution options.
Our HDMI over CAT5E/CAT5 splitter/receiver sets allow you to connect a single HDMI source to multiple HDMI display devices over dual CAT5e/CAT6 Cables. In fact, we offer two different devices, in order to better meet our customers’ diverse needs:
1.HDMI over Dual CAT5 1×4 Splitter and Receivers (Splitter: 12.5”W x 1.125”H x 6.25”D. Receiver: 1.75”W x .875”H x 3.25”D) — One HDMI source. Four display devices. 3D-readiness. Yours for just $740.
2.HDMI over Dual CAT5 1×8 Splitter and Receivers (Splitter: 17.25”W x 2”H x 8”D. Receiver: 1.75”W x .875”H x 3.25”D) — One HDMI source. Eight display devices. 3D readiness. Yours for just $1,400.
You can also add transmitter or receiver IR cable for just $7.95 more.
In other words, one HD cable/satellite box and four TVs throughout a home. Or one Blu-ray Disc player and eight TVs for a sports bar setting. You can imagine all the possibilities.
Perhaps the best feature is the use of dual CAT5e/CAT6 cables. As we often mention, these cables are simply a wonderful way to extend HDMI transmission capabilities at a low cost. Ethernet cables are far less expensive than HDMI cables, and they can maintain high-quality picture and sound at a significantly farther distance.
